Significant River works commence on Sustainable Transport Bridge
A significant milestone was reached in the progress of the Sustainable Transport Bridge this week as BAMs construction barge ‘Skerchi’ was towed into place to commence piling works for the four bridge pier foundations. New evidence of Mesolithic settlers discovered in Ireland and Wales

€40,000 combined funds presented to Waterford's Solas Cancer Support Centre
It was a momentous day for Team Sanofi on Wednesday April 26 when a cheque for over €40,000 was presented to the Solas Cancer Support Centre onsite. Waterford Chamber to host South East Jobs and Skills Fair
Waterford Chamber, in partnership with Waterford City and County Council, are hosting the South East Jobs and Skills Fair on Saturday, March 4th in City Hall Waterford from 9am to 4pm. The event is free to attend and will feature pop-up stands with employers from across the region who currently have live roles and are actively recruiting. According to Gerald Hurley, CEO Waterford Chamber, “The idea for this is based on direct feedback from our members who wanted to see such an event happening.
Sinn Fein promises business community an open mind in terms of commerce

Portalis to host public cultural tourism workshops
Portalis, an EU funded transdisciplinary project that explores the first connection between Ireland and Wales dating back to the Mesolithic period, is inviting members of the public to attend a series of workshops taking place in six unique coastal communities in Ireland and Wales. The cross-border local engagement events will look to introduce the Portalis project and explore how elements of the project can be used to develop cultural tourism in the coastal communities and their surrounding areas.
