Uisce Éireann and Clean Coasts are urging the people of Waterford to continue to ‘Think Before You Flush’ as alarmingly a recent survey has revealed an increase in the disposal of wipes and other sanitary products down the toilet. Significant River works commence on Sustainable Transport Bridge
A significant milestone was reached in the progress of the Sustainable Transport Bridge this week as BAMs construction barge ‘Skerchi’ was towed into place to commence piling works for the four bridge pier foundations. The piers require construction of a cofferdam, a watertight enclosure to allow construction work below the waterline.
