Waterford Chamber is deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of Kathleen Fitzgerald, a highly respected businesswoman and a director of George’s Court Shopping Centre in the city centre, along with a number of other business interests.
Kathleen made an outstanding contribution to the business community in Waterford. She served as a Director of Waterford Chamber from 2000 to 2014 and served with distinction as President of Waterford Chamber from 2006 to 2007. In 2011, she also made history as the Rotary Club of Waterford’s first female president, a role that reflected her leadership, dedication, and commitment to service.
Kathleen will be fondly remembered for her professionalism, generosity, and lasting impact on Waterford’s business and civic life.
