Excitement is building across the city and county as a host of Waterford’s top businesses go head to head at the tenth annual Waterford Business Awards on Friday, November 17th in the Tower Hotel.

Organisers Waterford Chamber have joined forces again with partners WLR and Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber for the gala awards ceremony which will see 10 category winners, a Judges Special Recognition Award, an Entrepreneur of the Year Award and an Overall Waterford Business of the Year Award being presented.
Speaking about the awards, Waterford Chamber President Niall Harrington said, “The Waterford Business Awards is one of the highlight events on the social calendar in Waterford and over 300 people will join us on the night as we celebrate our vibrant business community. While there can only be one winner in each category, all the shortlisted companies are phenomenal assets to the business community. It has been great to get to know the businesses in more detail over the last couple of weeks through social media and on air on WLR and I look forward to meeting each and every one on November 17th.”

The shortlisted businesses were nominated by the public and through a self-nomination process. An independent judging panel, chaired by Noel Kelly and including Lena Murphy, Truvium Vet; Martin Freyne; Des Whelan, WLR; Eamonn McEneaney; Deirdre Houlihan, Faithlegg; Jackie Roche, Bausch + Lomb and Jacqui Gaule, Waterford Local Enterprise Office, decided upon the final shortlist and category winners after a rigorous judging analysis of each application.
