Together with Tipperary, Limerick, Kilkenny and Wexford Chambers, we are building a strong, evidence-based business case for the urgent progression of the N24 as a strategic Limerick–Waterford corridor.
For businesses in Waterford and across the wider region, the N24 is much more than a road. It is a vital economic connection, linking our businesses and communities with Limerick and the Mid-West, the national motorway network, Waterford Port and Rosslare Europort.
Yet the limitations of the existing route are having a real impact. Congestion, unreliable journey times and poor connectivity can mean higher transport and operating costs, difficulties attracting and retaining staff, reduced access to customers and markets, and ultimately lost opportunities for investment and growth.
We now need to demonstrate that impact with evidence from businesses like yours.
We are asking Waterford Chamber members to complete a short survey outlining how the current N24 affects your business and what an upgraded route could mean for your future growth, employment and investment.
The survey takes approximately 8–10 minutes to complete. Your individual responses will be treated as strictly confidential, with findings reported only in aggregate.
This is an important opportunity for Waterford businesses to be heard. The five Chambers will use the findings to support our engagement with Government, the Department of Transport, Transport Infrastructure Ireland and public representatives.
Policy recognition of the importance of the N24 already exists. What we now need is progress, investment and a credible timetable for delivery. Strong evidence from the business community will significantly strengthen our ability to make that case.
The more Waterford businesses that participate, the stronger our collective voice will be.

We would also greatly appreciate it if you could share the survey with other businesses in your network that are affected by the N24.
