Waterford City & County Council is pleased to introduce the Urban Facade Enhancement Scheme for 2025, designed to support businesses in improving the appearance of their buildings and enhancing the overall streetscape.
Through this initiative, WCCC is offering financial assistance for exterior improvement works, covering up to 50% of costs (excluding VAT), with a maximum grant of €2,000 per building. This applies to both upper and lower floors in key areas of the Waterford City and Town Centres (see here for detail). Additional locations may be considered if they fall within notable areas as defined by the Development Plan map. Eligible works may include painting, signage upgrades, shopfront enhancements and other exterior improvements that contribute to a more attractive streetscape.
