Yoga teacher and wellness advocate, Virginia Giani, is back by popular demand for this year’s Comeraghs Wild Festival and will be hosting an open-air Bend & Blend Zen in the Park session at Kilmacthomas Viaduct on Saturday, July 13, starting at 10am.

It’s one of a number of mindfulness and holistic events on this year’s action-packed programme which celebrates the festival’s 10th Birthday and runs across the first two weekend in July.

Virginia, known locally as Yoga with Ginni, promises a morning to remember and to calm the mind and body. “Bend & Blend’ Zen in the Park at the Kilmacthomas Viaduct starts from 10am on Saturday 13th. We will meet at Signal Box Coffee on the Viaduct to pre-order a speciality coffee of choice before taking a short walk to the park where we will enjoy a relaxing and invigorating Yoga Practice.

“After Yoga, we will float back up to Signal Box on a sea of Calm and zen for a delectable and healthy smoothie bowl, freshly brewed coffee or tea and of course, wholesome chats. This event is suitable for all levels and all you need is your own mat.”

Advanced booking is required online via www.yogawithginni.com and the fee is €22 per person.

This year’s Comeraghs Wild Festival programme also includes separate, unrelated events which include a foraging and mindfulness walk in Crough Wood the previous day, Friday 12th, at 2pm. Participants are invited to be in the moment and uncover the many edible and medicinal wild plants, flowers and mushrooms that are abundant in the enchanting Crough Wood. Booking for that event is via  themysticholistic@gmail.com and the cost is €10 per person.

This year’s Festival also includes a Craft & Mindfulness event for children, starting at 10am on Saturday 13th. It will involve creating wild art and crafts using materials from nature. The fee is €5 per child and advance booking is required on  themysticholistic@gmail.com
