Nolan Farrell & Goff is delighted to support of Mount Congreve’s recent visual art program, Art in the Gardens. In order to enhance its recently refurbished board room Nolan Farrell & Goff purchased a painting by Irish artist Louise Shearer, ‘Sailing on a sea of stars’.

"Louise Shearer is one of the finest artists at work now in Ireland. Few painters are as bold and adventurous.” - John Banville

Art in the Gardens is a partnership between Mount Congreve and Artform which supports up and coming Irish artists by displaying them in the renowned Mount Congreve estate and promoting their work through publicised exhibitions.

Valerie Farrell, Partner at Nolan Farrell & Goff says this as a win, win for everyone involved, “Not only do we get to support Irish art and this incredible initiative by Mount Congreve and Artform, we get a beautiful piece of art which will transform our work space.

We all know how important it is to stimulate and motivate a workforce, so enhancing and freshening up the daily view within the office space is one easy way of doing this. Original art is good for the working environment, looks great when you have clients visiting and you get to support great artists like Louise. It was an easy decision by the board to invest in this piece, especially with the help we received from Mount Congreve and Artform.”

Sara Dolan, CEO of Mount Congreve Gardens was delighted to work with Nolan Farrell & Goff, “We really appreciate support from any business in Waterford, but Nolan Farrell & Goff took a keen interest in our program and we’re delighted to assist them in supporting Irish arts and culture. Our Art in the Gardens program has been a huge success, allowing visitors to discover new perspectives and gain a deeper appreciation for the connection between art and nature. They can engage in conversations with the artists themselves, learning about their inspiration and techniques. Visitors can also participate in interactive workshops and demonstrations, allowing them to unleash their own inner artist.”

Art in the Gardens partner, Artform is a contemporary school of art based in the Dunmore East. It offers artist-led open air and studio based workshops and painting holidays as well as online courses with Artform tutors.
