A report by researchers from University College Cork Ireland concluded that 76% of Irish employers see employee mental health and wellbeing as their responsibility. The finding, which is based on a survey of 1,501 firms employing ten or more workers, is based on employers’ response when asked to what extent they agreed with the statement that “Mental health is a personal issue and not one which should be addressed at work”.
