Excitement is building across the Deise as seven outstanding professionals prepare to represent the Network Ireland Waterford Branch at the upcoming Network Ireland National Businesswoman of the Year Awards in Galway on September 18th.
Demonstrating the immense talent, resilience, and ambition present across Waterford’s business community, the branch will be proudly represented in seven award categories during this landmark evening at the Galmont Hotel.
The road to the national finals has already seen significant milestones. On August 12th, the finalists travelled to Dublin to complete their national awards interviews at AIB Molesworth Street, where they presented their achievements and business visions to the national judging panel.
The prestigious awards ceremony capping off the evening at the Galmont Hotel is only half of the journey. Earlier in the day, delegates will gather at the iconic Dexcom Stadium in Galway for the Network Ireland National Conference, where leaders and innovators from across Ireland will come together to share insights, build connections, and foster professional growth.
Representing the branch across seven categories is a remarkable achievement that underscores Waterford's thriving economic and creative landscape.
Speaking ahead of the event Network Ireland Waterford Branch President and Director of ReduceCosts Claire Mooney stated “I am immensely proud of each of the seven finalists representing our branch on the national stage of the Businesswoman of the Year Awards. Their backgrounds, industries, and skillsets span a wide mix, highlighting the depth of experience and insight within our Network. Our theme for 2026 is Believe, and each of these women represents it through the quiet confidence, commitment, and self‑belief that brought them to the national stage.”
