What a lovely evening we had on 26 June as we officially launched our newly renovated guest rooms at Viking Hotel Waterford.
Our invited guests enjoyed delicious food and drinks, live music and the chance to explore the stunning new rooms, designed by renowned architect Hugh Wallace. Hugh joined us as our special guest for the evening and was warmly welcomed by all in attendance.
The night brought together local faces and friends of the hotel including Government Chief Whip & Minister of State Mary Butler, Waterford Chamber of Commerce President Kevin Doolan and the Kelly Family Noel & Noleen, owners of Viking Hotel Waterford. Guests mingled and chatted while taking in the refreshed look of our accommodation, including locally inspired artwork, stunning décor, and spa inspired bathrooms.
General Manager Karen Dollery commented, “We are so proud of the transformation and the reaction from our guests has been fantastic. Hugh Wallace has brought a real sense of style and comfort to these rooms and we’re with the finished product. Whether staying for business or leisure, we know our guests will enjoy a truly relaxing experience.”
Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a special occasion.
