SETU’s portfolio of part-time courses now includes full part-time degrees funded under the SUSI grant scheme.
This is in addition to the many free/highly subsidised upskilling courses available through schemes such Springboard and Skillnets.
SUSI: fee grant contribution for selected, approved undergraduate major awards delivered at between 30-50 credits per year. Funding is subject to income, residency and other conditions.
Springboard: Springboard+ offers Free / 90% Funded Higher Education courses – typically 1 year or less - in areas where skills are in great demand in the Irish economy. All SETU courses are parttime and are delivered in flexible modes designed to maximise access including for people who are working. The subsidy level for 'microcredentials' under 20 credits is 50%.
Skillnets: Provide part-funding for courses in areas where local employers are looking for staff to upskill and re-skill.
