A New Monthly Music & Social Experience in Waterford

HEAT WAVE festivals have long been a fantastic platform for bringing people together from all walks of life across Waterford—families, friends, sporting groups, and corporate social clubs—uniting the entire community through music and shared experiences.

Until now, however, we have hosted just one show per year.

That is all about to change.

We are delighted to introduce an exciting new social platform: HEAT WAVE – THE CLUB.
 
The Concept
HEAT WAVE – THE CLUB is a membership-based experience centred around live music, socialising, and exclusive benefits. Our aim is to create a vibrant monthly event where members can regularly connect, unwind, and enjoy high-quality entertainment in a welcoming atmosphere.

Events will take place once a month on a Saturday at Bank Lane, a premier live music venue in the heart of Waterford city.

Each evening will feature:

• A leading DJ to open the night, take song requests, and give shout-outs for birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions
• A performance by an emerging original band, supporting the next generation of musical talent
• A headline set from a world-class tribute band

Tribute acts will cover a wide range of iconic bands, including:
ABBA, AC/DC, BON JOVI, BRUCE SPRINGSTEIN, COLD PLAY, FOO FIGHTERS, FLEETWOOD MAC, THE EAGLES, GUNS N ROSES, METALLICA, QUEEN, THIN LIZZY and more.

A full lineup schedule will be in place for the year so you can see what’s coming up!.
 
How It Works
Each member will receive a personalised numbered keyring, which acts as both entry to events and access to exclusive benefits.

Membership includes entry into a monthly prize draw, featuring:

Our grand Christmas prize will be a trip for two to New York, including flights and accommodation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is membership limited?
Yes. Membership numbers will be capped in line with venue capacity, making this an exclusive experience.

What if I can’t attend a particular month or don’t like the band?
You may pass your keyring to a friend, colleague, or family member to attend in your place.

Can I cancel my membership?
Yes, you can cancel at any time.

Are there rules?
Yes. As with any club, respectful behaviour is expected at all times. Inappropriate conduct may result in cancellation of membership.

Can I bring a guest?
No. Events are strictly for members only. However, friends and family are welcome to join the club.
