Waterford Local Enterprise Office, together with Waterford City and County Council are pleased to announce George Corbett Motors as their 2026 Waterford Digital Awards Overall Winner.
 
The ceremony, which took place at Dooley’s Hotel on Friday 26th June, aimed to recognise and reward SMEs based in County Waterford who have developed their ecommerce and digital platforms as part of their product offering. The Awards were open to all businesses with less than 50 full-time employees based in County Waterford.

Presenting the awards, Mayor of Waterford City and County, Cllr Liam Brazil was impressed with the development of Waterford’s digital footprint, “Digital marketing and its tools have allowed our business community, here in Waterford, to connect with the rest of the world in a faster and smarter way. The stories of today’s finalists and winners are truly inspirational.”
 
Founded in 1995, George Corbett Motors has never stood still, its recent digital transformation focused on building a fully connected, data-driven marketing and sales ecosystem that links customer engagement directly to business outcomes. The core innovation it implemented was a structured digital attribution and lead management system that integrates marketing platforms, CRM data, and sales processes into a single measurable framework.
 
Chelsey Walsh, digital marketing manager at George Corbett Motors, was delighted with the win, “Our new system allows us to track the full customer journey from initial digital interaction through to enquiry, showroom engagement, and sale. It has been a team effort and I’m very proud of what we’ve achieved and the win here this evening. All the businesses here tonight have amazing stories and to be chosen as the overall winner is remarkable.”
 
The winners of each award category were:

  1. Best Digital Transformation – George Corbett Motors
  2. Best E-Commerce Business – TEFL Institute of Ireland
  3. Best Use of Social Media – Adara
  4. Best Digital Marketing Campaign – MindPath
The winner of each category received €1,000 towards technical advice, photography, videography and marketing. The overall winner received €2,500 in cash.
