
South East Energy Agency is inviting you to attend the third European Climate Pact National Conference in collaboration with the European Commission Representation in Dublin, on Wednesday 13 May 2026, 09:30am at Europe House, Dublin.
The Conference aims to bring together European Climate Pact Ambassadors, policymakers, experts, communities and organisations for national-level climate dialogue, showcase Ireland’s climate actions, innovations and community-led initiatives under the project.
It also aims to build new partnerships between local authorities, NGOs, educators, businesses and citizens, improve networking, engagement, collaboration between Pact Community, European Commission Representation in Ireland and Country Coordinator (South East Energy Agency), to deliver the Climate Pact in Ireland.
Confirmed speakers include:
1. Eamon Ryan, former Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications and Minister for Transport
2. Roderic O’Gorman, leader of the Green Party
3. Deputy Mayor of Kilkenny, Cllr. Maria Dollard
4. Paddy Phelan, CEO, South East Energy Agency
5. Dr. Dewi Vliexs, EU Team Lead, South East Energy Agency
The Conference will also feature a workshop session on ‘Natures Carol – Past, Present and Future’, delivered by Ambassador Lorna McCormack, Director, Wool in School.
An optional Europa Experience would take place as well offering participants an immersive and interactive space to discover how the EU works and how the decisions taken by Parliament, Commission and Council affects you. You will listen to stories of how EU policies have shaped the lives of people from all around Europe, find out about how you can make a difference, and have your say.
