Clem Jacob Hire nominated for Global Sustainability Award at World IPAF Summit
Clem Jacob Hire, a family-run equipment hire company based in Waterford, has been nominated for a prestigious Sustainability Award at the upcoming World IPAF Summit, taking place in Turkey this April. The nomination places Clem Jacob Hire among only four companies worldwide selected for recognition in sustainability, an achievement that highlights years of investment, planning, and commitment to reducing environmental impact across the business.
Speaking on the announcement, Clem Jacob said: “After all the years of working on our sustainability plan and putting massive effort into cutting our carbon footprint, we can now begin to see the positive results of all this hard work and investment. Our small family run company, from Waterford, will come head to head against three multi billion dollar manufacturing companies from France, China and the United Arab Emirates. For us to be in this position is pretty amazing and I would really like to thank everyone in the company that worked so hard to get us to this position. A special thank you also to my son Sean for the hours and days it took to complete all these reports and award entries. I am so proud of what all my team have achieved.”
The World IPAF Summit is regarded as one of the most significant global events in the powered access industry, attracting leading manufacturers, suppliers, and industry decision-makers from around the world. The Sustainability Awards are among the summit’s most competitive categories, recognising companies making real, measurable progress in environmental responsibility.
Clem Jacob Hire’s nomination reflects the company’s long-term commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices, proving that local, independent Irish businesses can compete at the very highest level internationally.
