Megan Cassidy is Managing Director of Global Economic Summit, a homegrown, international conference that will convene over 400 global leaders in Co Kerry next year with the support of the Irish government and patrons Enda Kenny, Mary Robinson, and Governor Martin O’ Malley (recently tapped to Biden administration.)
Having started her career in television at RTE, Megan’s experience spans TV, Radio, Print and Digital at companies including News Corp and Maximum Media.
As Managing Director at Lovin Media Group, a media publisher with over 8m worldwide users in 6 territories, Megan was responsible for overseeing all functions of the business which was named ‘Best Brand’ at the Digital Media Awards 2020, and led it to successful acquisition in 2021.
From there Megan co-Founded Outcaster, a subscription management platform for creators which was one of 11 startups accepted onto the NDRC accelerator programme from over 700 applicants.
Hailing from Waterford, Megan sits on the board of a number of organisations including the internationally acclaimed youth-based theatre company Little Red Kettle, and has served as an ambassador for the Imagine Arts Festival and Winterval.
