Join Waterford Chamber for a Business After Hours at Building 1, Glassworks, taking place on Thursday, 26th February at 5:30pm.
Waterford Chamber is delighted to invite members and guests to an exclusive networking evening at Glassworks, a landmark new development on the former Waterford Crystal site on the Cork Road and the first building to be delivered within Ireland’s first co-located University Enterprise Quarter.
Developed through a joint venture between Frisby and the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF), in close collaboration with South East Technological University (SETU), Glassworks represents a major investment in the future of Waterford and the wider South East. The campus is designed to bring enterprise, research and education together in one location, creating a dynamic environment for collaboration, innovation and growth.
Guests will have the opportunity to experience Building 1, an 80,000 sq ft Grade A office building designed to the highest sustainability standards, targeting BER A3, LEED Gold and WiredScore Gold certification. The building forms the first phase of a wider regeneration of the 37-acre Glassworks site, which is expected to support up to 6,000 jobs as it develops over time.
The evening will provide insight into the vision for the University Enterprise Quarter, the role of SETU in supporting research and industry collaboration, and how Glassworks is creating new opportunities for local and international businesses to grow in Waterford.
Join us for an evening of networking, conversation and connection in one of the city’s most significant new commercial developments.
