Waterford Chamber has announced the launch of its flagship Regional Leaders Programme, now in its tenth year, with this year’s programme commencing on September 25th with a celebration lunch in beautiful Faithlegg. Bookings are now open for professionals across the South East seeking to enhance their leadership capabilities.

Over the past decade, the programme has supported hundreds of leaders from across the region, helping to build a stronger, more connected and more ambitious business community.

Gerald Hurley, CEO of Waterford Chamber, said the milestone reflects the programme’s lasting impact on the region. “Over the past ten years, hundreds of leaders have come through this programme, and our region is a better place because of it.

“The Regional Leaders Programme has continually evolved in response to the needs of business. It is designed for professionals who want to develop their leadership skills, and for organisations looking to strengthen their internal talent pipeline.

“With mentors and coaches drawn from a wide range of sectors, participants benefit from one-to-one mentoring, panel discussions, structured networking and monthly leadership events that challenge and inspire.”

Mr Hurley added that the programme continues to grow in strength and reach. “We are delighted to welcome a number of new leaders this year, bringing fresh insight and experience. With an alumni network of over 700 participants, this programme has created a powerful community of business leaders who will continue to shape the economic future of the South East.”

The programme is delivered in partnership with Waterford Chamber Skillnet, with additional support from Bausch + Lomb and the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Ireland Chapter.

Tommie Ryan, Network Manager at Waterford Chamber Skillnet, said the programme is designed with flexibility in mind. “Participants can arrange their one-to-one mentoring sessions at a time that suits them, while also engaging in monthly live events focused on leadership development.

“Each participant is matched with experienced programme leaders aligned to their individual leadership journey, while panel discussions featuring leading entrepreneurs and business figures provide further insight and learning opportunities.”

The programme is open to professionals at all stages of their careers, including CEOs, senior managers, entrepreneurs, and those aspiring to leadership roles.
