The REAL Estate Agency Summit, which will be held at the Theatre Royal, Waterford on Thursday, 11th June 2026, is the first event of its kind in Ireland to focus specifically on helping estate agents build stronger, more profitable, and better businesses.
The summit is the brainchild of Regina Mangan, an estate agent, industry mentor, and author of How to Build a Smarter, Faster, Better Estate Agency Business, who has nearly 30 years’ experience working in the Irish property sector.
“Ten years ago, I travelled to London to attend a Future PropTech conference,” said Mangan. “It turned my business upside down and inside out - for the better. That experience was just the beginning. Over the past decade, I’ve been searching globally for insights and inspiration that have transformed my own business. At the same time, I’ve built a powerful network of experts - coaches, masterminds, and gurus. Now, I want to bring that expertise home to Ireland.”

Research highlights need for change
The timing of the summit coincides with the publication of new research by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) examining consumer experiences of buying and selling property in Ireland. While the research shows that overall satisfaction with estate agents remains relatively high, it also reveals low levels of customer loyalty. Among consumers who both bought and sold property in the same year, 66% used different estate agents for each transaction.
International star power comes to Ireland
The headline speaker at the event will be Tom Panos, widely recognised as Australia’s number one real estate coach and one of the most influential figures in global estate agency. Panos has more than 30 years’ experience as an agent, business owner, auctioneer and coach and works with many of Australia’s highest-performing agents. His coaching approach combines real-world agency experience with evidence-based psychology and practical strategies that can be implemented immediately. The Waterford event will mark Panos’ first appearance at a national estate agency conference in Ireland.

Unlike many previous property events in Ireland, which have focused primarily on legislative updates and compliance requirements, the REAL Estate Agency Summit is built around four core pillars: Revenue, Elevation, Action and Leadership. The one-day programme will cover topics such as protecting fees, building strong agency brands, developing new revenue streams, using marketing and AI effectively, and leading teams through change.
Speakers will include Irish and international experts across estate agency, marketing, leadership and performance, with a strong emphasis on practical insight rather than theory.
