The EAP Institute will host a new 2-hour certified online course titled “From EAP Counselling to Compliance – The Changing Face of Employee Assistance” on Thursday, 29th January 2026 from 2 PM to 4 PM GMT.

The session will be delivered by Maurice Quinlan, Director of the EAP Institute, and Dr. Don Jorgensen, an international specialist in Employee Assistance and workplace mental health.

Why This Matters:
The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) has stated that workplace mental health is now a safety issue, placing additional responsibilities on employers, health and safety teams, and organisational leaders.

As Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs) evolve in response to legislation, compliance standards and ISO 45003, this course provides an overview of Employee Support Therapy (EST) and how it is informing new approaches to psychosocial risk management in the UK, US, EU and globally.

What the Course Covers:
  • Compliance with National Equality and Safety Legislation
  • Guidance aligned with IOSH best practice
  • A structured approach to managing workplace mental health disabilities
  • Insights into ISO 45003: Managing Psychosocial Risk
  • Practical methodologies for psychological and psychosocial risk assessments
Early Registration:
An early booking rate of €99 (standard fee €125) is available until 22 January 2026.
