SPEAKER PROFILES
Niall Fitzgerald, Head of Retirement Solutions, Zurich.Niall has held a number of market facing roles during his 22 years with Zurich. Prior to joining Zurich, Niall worked for a number of years with as a Senior Pensions Consultant dealing directly with clients, employers and trustees. Niall has vast experience dealing with advisers and employers in all aspects of pension scheme provision. Recently he has been involved with analysing solutions for employers when it comes to the newly introduced auto enrolment legislation. He holds the QFA and RPA designation from the LIA, is an associate of the Irish Institute of Pensions Management and a Qualified Pension Trustee.
Dermot Goode, Head of Healthcare, Lockton Ireland
Dermot has over 35 years experience in the healthcare market in Ireland. He has previously worked with organisations such as VHI Healthcare, BUPA Ireland and Cornmarket Healthcare. From a consultancy perspective, he established a healthcare practice with Irish Pensions Trust in 1997 and has worked with many organisations over the years including IBA, IFG, Mercer and Willis. In 2009, he founded PHI Consulting (now trading as Total Health Cover) to provide advisory services to individual consumers and employers in Ireland. Following the acquisition of PHI Consulting by Lockton Insurance Brokers Ireland (LIBI) in February 2022, Dermot now heads up their healthcare division in Ireland.
Niall O'Callaghan, Partner & CEO, Lockton Ireland
Niall is a thought leader in the Irish benefits markets, having worked for over 20 years with Mercer, in a combination of Irish and European roles. He joined Lockton from New Ireland where he was the Commercial Director with responsibility for Proposition & Technology.
