Waterford Drama Society are delighted to be staging Oscar Wilde’s delightful comedy THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST in Garter Lane Theatre for 5 nights from the 24th to the 28th of October next.

Often regarded as representing the culmination of Wilde’s artistic career this sublime comedy has been revived many times since its premiere in February 1895 in St. James Theatre in London and has been adapted for cinema on three occasions.

All those interested in being involved (on stage, back-stage or front of house) in this production by WDS are invited to attend our workshop/audition in Garter lane 1, beside Delaney's Florist, O'Connell Street on the 30th of May next at 7.00pm.

The cast both male and female covers a range of ages and we would love to see as many as possible on the 30th may.
