Guests at the Waterford Chamber Regional Leaders Programme closing lunch at Faithlegg were left uplifted and inspired following an address from the inimitable Jack Kavanagh this week.

In 2012 Jack Kavanagh suffered a life changing spinal cord injury leaving him with 15% muscle function. In the years since, Jack has challenged the perceived limitations of his situation and spoke openly and honestly about the challenges and opportunities he has faced in subsequent years. In 2019 Jack was awarded as one of “Ten Outstanding Young People Of The Year” and has also received several international awards for his documentary Breaking Boundaries.

The Regional Leaders Programme is designed by business for business to develop future leaders and is open to anyone to join. The new programme, which is supported by Waterford Chamber Skillnet and Bausch + Lomb, is currently open for new applicants and for more information see or contact Lynda Lawton
