Waterford playwright and actor Michael Power is back at the Theatre Royal, 12th-15th July, to star in his new play, ‘Going Back’.

Directed by Liam Butler and also featuring the superb Paula Weldon, ‘Going Back’ tells the story of Horatio Hart, who takes every day as it comes. Horatio reads people with acute accuracy, from his low-level vantage point of a ground placed cushion, but not always to his liking.

An initial frosty encounter with young college student Julia leads to a great friendship with Horatio. Julia’s sponge-like brain wants to learn everything from her new well-travelled, highly intelligent friend. Horatio obliges, but he has a sense that all is not right in Julia’s personal life.

Michael last treaded the boards at Theatre Royal in Pat Day’s sold-our production of “The Attack”. Tickets are selling fast for his new show, get yours soon to avoid disappointment, www.theatreroyal.ie or 051 874402.
