Putting corporate social responsibility at the heart of its business has seen one of Ireland’s biggest business success stories winning yet another high-profile national award.
 
Waterford Chamber member ,Manguard Plus, Ireland’s largest privately owned Irish security company, won the Family Business CSR Bronze award at a glittering event in the Mansion House.
 
The company is celebrating more than 27 years in business and enjoys a turnover of some €40 Million, employing 1,200 staff from offices throughout the island of Ireland. Its meteoric rise is closely aligned with its Corporate Social Responsibility and last year alone, Manguard Plus allocated a massive 24% of its net profit to charities and sporting organisations.
 
Through local sourcing, the company also stimulates local business growth. The company is long recognised for being one of the most generous and loyal sponsors of sporting and community organisations. In Kildare alone it sponsors Moorefield GAA as well as Manguard Park –Kildare GAA Centre of Excellence as well as numerous clubs nationwide including St. Patrick’s Athletic.
