Thanks to sponsors UPMC Whitfield, Waterford Chamber is joining with Waterford Local Enterprise Office and the Waterford News & Star for a networking breakfast to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8th in the Viking Hotel Waterford.

Following a delicious breakfast, four leading business ladies will take to the stage to share their stories, the ups and downs, the lessons learned.

Waterford Chamber’s Lynda Lawton will host the panel discussion, which will feature Amy Brennan, new Site Lead at Sanofi; Joanne Geary, Managing Director of myhome.ie; Gwen Daniels, UPMC Whitfield and celebrity chef Eunice Power.

According to Lynda: “What better way to celebrate International Women’s Day than networking with and listening to four hugely inspiring ladies. There really is something for everyone on offer here as the ladies are so diverse in their chosen careers and are paving the way in terms of leadership and business development.

“This event is a true collaboration. We work closely with the Waterford News & Star and Waterford Local Enterprise office throughout the year and we are honoured UPMC Whitfield chose this event in terms of sponsorship, as they are champions for women’s health and well-being.

“Together with our esteemed panel, we will present an event to remember in the newly renovated Viking Hotel and while most breakfast events start much earlier, we are very conscious of the dreaded school runs on this occasion, so our guests can join us at their ease from 9am.”

The event runs from 9am to 11am and tickets are just €30, available here.
