The Waterford business community is gearing up to put the best foot forward on Thursday, May 12th at Tom Murphy Car Sales, as Waterford Chamber brings back its ever-popular Business Expo.
The Expo is the perfect opportunity for businesses to network with each other, but also to showcase their products and services to a wide audience, as the event is open to the public from 4pm.
Sponsored by Waterford Local Enterprise Office, the Expo will have a number of interesting features – WLR will be broadcasting live, free tea/coffee and snacks will be provided by Musgrave Marketplace and High Horse Events, there will be delicious tacos from Chingon Food Truck, drinks from the Reg and lots of spot prizes along the way!
Speaking about the event, Waterford Chamber President John McSweeney said: “After a two year absence, the Business Expo is a welcome opportunity for businesses to reconnect and do business. Last weekend we celebrated Waterford being a great place to live in style – the Expo will show how Waterford is also a great place to do business and we look forward to welcoming everyone through the doors.”
Jacqui Gaule, Waterford Local Enterprise Office, said: “The Business Expo is always such a positive event and we are delighted to come on board as sponsors this year. Ourselves and the Chamber work closely in supporting the business community all year round, so coming together for this event was a natural partnership. We can’t wait to meet so many people we haven’t seen in over two years – it’s going to be a great day.”
Barry Murphy, Tom Murphy Car Sales added: “We busy getting the showrooms ready and look forward to welcoming the business community and the public to the Business Expo. We will be offering test drives on electric vehicles as it is also Waterford Chamber’s green month, so there will be plenty of activity.”
The Business Expo is open to both Chamber members and non-members to attend and exhibition stands are just €150+VAT, which includes the provision of a pod table.
