3 Counties Energy Agency becomes the South East Energy Agency as Waterford joins partnership
The 3 Counties Energy Agency (3CEA) – Carlow, Kilkenny and Wexford have welcomed county Waterford as new members of the partnership. To reflect the regional expansion, we are now called the South East Energy Agency.

The South East Energy Agency will still provide expert support to all energy users in the region, whether you’re a homeowner interested in retrofitting, a farmer interested in lowering your farm’s energy use, a local authority reducing your service’s energy consumption, a community wanting to develop renewable energy projects or a business owner wanting to reduce your energy bills, they are your one-stop shop to support all your energy needs in the Southeast.

The South East Energy Agency are committed to working with all energy users to support their transition to more rational use of energy and integration of clean energy across the region. This is contributing to removing 12,000,000 tonnes of CO2 in the SE region by 2030. The South East Energy Agency works locally and regionally as a trusted intermediary to support the actions on the ground that contribute to the larger goals of the National Climate Action Plan supporting all stakeholders on their energy transition journey to 2030 and beyond. Their success in reaching 2030 targets will depend on how they and others work together to deliver energy efficiency, clean energy, behavioural change, and greater sustainability.
